Financial Disclaimer

READ THIS BEFORE TRADING. Spread Sniper is a software tool, not a broker, advisor, or fiduciary. Nothing displayed in the app or on this website is investment advice. Options trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You may lose more than you invest. You alone are responsible for every trading decision you make.

1. Educational and Informational Use Only

The content, charts, spread suggestions, probabilities, payoff diagrams, and any other output produced by Spread Sniper (the “Service”) are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute, and should not be relied upon as, investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice. The Service does not take into account your personal financial situation, investment objectives, risk tolerance, or any other factor specific to you.

2. Not a Broker-Dealer or Investment Adviser

SwanPowers, LLC is not a registered broker-dealer, investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, futures commission merchant, or financial planner under U.S. securities or commodities laws, nor is it registered in any other jurisdiction. The Service does not execute trades, hold customer funds, custody securities, or provide personalized investment recommendations. To place a trade, you must use a separate licensed broker that you choose.

3. No Recommendation, No Solicitation

Any spread structure, ticker, strike, expiration, probability, or expected-value figure shown in the Service is generated algorithmically from market data and the inputs you provide. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, and it is not a solicitation or offer to enter into any transaction. Different inputs will produce different output. The displayed probability and payoff are mathematical estimates based on assumptions (including implied volatility, time to expiration, and the price path you draw) that may not hold in reality.

4. Options Trading Risks

Options are leveraged instruments and can move sharply in price. Risks include but are not limited to:

  • Total or greater than total loss of principal. Certain strategies, including naked or undefined-risk positions, can lose more than the premium paid.
  • Time decay (theta). Options lose extrinsic value as they approach expiration.
  • Volatility risk (vega).A change in implied volatility can move an option’s price significantly even if the underlying is unchanged.
  • Assignment and exercise risk. Short options may be assigned at any time, including before expiration, leaving you with an unintended stock position.
  • Liquidity and execution risk. Wide bid-ask spreads, low open interest, halted trading, fast markets, and broker outages can prevent you from entering or exiting at the prices shown.
  • Pin and expiration risk. Underlyings finishing near a short strike at expiration can produce unexpected outcomes.
  • Tax consequences. Options strategies may produce short-term gains, wash sales, or other tax events. Consult a tax professional.

Before trading any listed option, you must read and understand the Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options published by The Options Clearing Corporation, and the additional supplements as they are issued.

5. Hypothetical and Forward-Looking Statements

Probabilities, expected values, and projected payoff zones shown in the Service are hypothetical and forward-looking. They are model outputs, not predictions. Actual results will differ, sometimes substantially, from anything the model displays. Backtested or simulated performance, if shown, has inherent limitations including the benefit of hindsight and the absence of real execution costs and slippage.

6. Market Data Accuracy

Prices, quotes, Greeks, and other market data are obtained from third-party providers (including Polygon.io) and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. The Service is not a real-time trading system. Do not rely solely on data shown in the Service to enter or manage a trade; verify prices in your broker before transacting.

7. Past Performance Is Not Indicative of Future Results

Any historical chart, win rate, average return, or performance statistic shown anywhere in the Service describes the past. It is not a guarantee, promise, or projection of future performance. Markets change. Strategies that worked previously may not work in the future.

8. No Fiduciary Relationship

Your use of the Service does not create a fiduciary, advisory, agency, or trust relationship between you and SwanPowers, LLC. We owe you no duty of care with respect to investment decisions. Always seek the advice of a qualified, licensed financial professional regarding your specific situation.

9. Your Responsibility

By using the Service you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You understand the risks of options trading.
  • You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and for confirming details (strikes, expirations, quantities, debit/credit) in your broker before submitting any order.
  • SwanPowers, LLC has no responsibility or liability for any trading loss, missed profit, tax consequence, broker error, data error, or other financial outcome arising from your use of the Service.

10. Jurisdiction

The Service is operated from the United States and is intended for users in jurisdictions where listed options trading and the use of such tools is lawful. It is your responsibility to determine whether your use of the Service complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.

11. Relationship to Terms of Service

This Financial Disclaimer is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between this Disclaimer and the Terms of Service, the more protective-of-SwanPowers provision controls to the extent permitted by law.
